CityGate Preparatory Academy is a place where blossoming geniuses can begin their journey of successful leadership. Not only will the children be engaged in fun and interactive academics, they will also be prepared for a lifelong journey and enjoyment of learning!
Led by Ms. Sherry Magwood, a longtime educator, the children are introduced to the basics of education at an early age and taught the philosophy that learning is all around us. They also learn how they are a part of a community and to become responsible and loving citizens to everyone around them.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
SCHOOL DAY: School begins promptly at 8:15AM. However, drop off begins as early as 7AM.
ATTIRE: Students should wear a CityGate Preparatory Polo and blue or khaki bottoms everyday. Sneakers are recommended. Two (2) full sets of extra clothing should be left at the center. Please be sure that all items that your child brings to school (including clothing) are clearly labeled with your child’s name.
TOYS: We ask that your child NOT bring toys, radios, masks, games, movies, etc. to school. We cannot be responsible for any items that your child brings to school.
FOOD: BREAKFAST: If you bring your child before 8:15AM, a healthy breakfast will be provided at no cost by the school. If your child arrives after 8:15AM, please make sure that he/she has already eaten breakfast. SNACKS: We enjoy afternoon snack daily, which are provided by the school at no cost.
